The Dutch verbs of motion can be considered as a separate group because of forming the perfect tense with both of the auxiliary verbs: zijn ‘to be’ when the action is actualized as a process and hebben ‘to have’ when the action has direction. Making allowance for the semantic aspects of movement and perception of the situation by the speaking person, the semantic kernel and periphery of the field were detached.
