The Danish indefinite pronoun nogle is a plural form of the pronoun
nogen.
It’s important to point out that pronoun nogle in different positions may appear as either noun or adjective. Some grammars prescribe a new function to the pronoun nogle, that is the function of the plural form of the indefinite
article. It seems possible to speak about a particular status of nogle only when it stands in the unstressed position of rheme. The reason is that in the stressed position this pronoun has a lexical meaning and it’s role isn’t only
to bring in new information, but also to make the object more concrete.
