PROVERBS OF NORTH JUTLAND AND THE ISSUE OF THEIR CLASSIFICATION AND STUDY

Reconstruction of the proverbial picture of the world requires a classification of proverbs. Proverbs being largely metaphorical, the key words therein tend to render classification according to them confusing. Reduced to maxims,
proverbs can be related to topic groups of paired juxtaposed entities. A further study of the topic groups, their inner form and structure will allow for revealing their national specifics.
