Participle I and II is an important elements of the Swedish official business style texts and their “token”, but it is often used in texts of other styles, for example in belles-lettres. Some kinds of constructions with Participle I and II are used very widely in neutral and colloquial styles. This article considered the functions of Participle I and II in Swedish and the methods of their translation into Russian.
